Explore our Teton Pack Trips, Drop Camps and Wyoming Trail Rides

Teton Pack Trips

Our overnight trips can be customized to fit your schedule or desires. Any of the trails mentioned in our day rides can be integrated into any trip that is put together. There are many trails that have not been mentioned that may be included as well. Really, the possibilities are endless. Whether you like to fish, ride or just take it all in, we are in the business to accommodate you, whatever your preference may be! Overnight trips range from 2-6 days. All-inclusive with the exception of sleeping bags.

Wyoming Drop Camps

This may be our favorite of all the activities that we offer. We will organize and pack your gear and camping equipment and deliver it to a pre-arranged camp location. From there, you make your own plans for a desired amount of time. We then return to your location to retrieve your gear, and pack it all back out to the trailhead. Saddle horses will be made available by request for those who may desire to travel horse back to and/or from your campsite. This is an optimal service that we provide for hikers who don't want to be burdened with excessive gear or heavy loads to carry on their own backs. Let us take care of what may be a hindrance to you, while you enjoy your vacation in the Tetons to the utmost level. We are able to accommodate any size party. No groups are too small or too large!

Half Day Horseback Trail Rides

Beaver Creek Trail Ride

Beaver Creek Trail

This is a perfect half day horseback trail ride with plenty of scenic opportunity.

From the South Leigh Trailhead, we will climb gradually through open timber and lush fields of wildflowers, along the face of historic Beard's Mountain, until reaching the pinnacle of this ride at Commissary Ridge.

Take a break and stretch your legs while soaking in the spectacular views. We will return the same route to the trailhead.

Approx. 3 hrs. No lunch provided on half day rides.

Chicken Creek Trail

Chicken Creek

Great scenic opportunity and chance for wildlife.

From Indian Meadows, we ride mildly through open timber and lush meadows, crossing Chicken Creek and climbing to the rim of Bear Canyon. Take a break here to stretch, and take in the beauty of what the area has to offer.

Great for riders who may be just starting out but want a taste of "the big picture."

Approx. 3 hrs. No lunch on half day rides.

Full Day Horseback Trail Rides

Green Lakes / Granite Basin Loop

Green Lakes/
Granite Basin Loop

Plan on a full day of riding, 6-8hrs. Some riding experience may be necessary as there are some challenging aspects along the trail.

Absolutely breathtaking scenery along the western boundary of Grand Teton National Park. Great series of alpine lakes and fishing is a definite probability. Enjoy a break and a sack lunch along the lake shore, or at a spot with a panoramic vista.

Hominy Peak Trail

This is a great ride for beginners or more inexperienced riders. It is relatively mild terrain with some of the most beautiful views on the western slope of the Teton range. Experience wildlife, elk, moose, and deer, or black and grizzly bear. The Beery Creek Drainage of Grand Teton National Park is very easily accessible from this trail, and makes for even more opportunity to view wildlife.

This ride offers great diversity as we reach certain intersections with several options of how to return to the trailhead. 5-6 hrs or 7-8hrs, depending on the route we choose to take! Lunch is provided.

South Boone Creek Trail

South Boone Creek Trail

This ride offers a lot of variation in terrain, from mild to challenging. The trail follows majestic South Boone Creek for several miles, where marshes and meadows offer perfect habitat for moose, which we will probably see!

Climb through the head of the canyon to an elevation of around 8000 feet. Then ride along the west face of Survey Peak, offering stunning views of the Sawtell Mountain Range. We'll choose a canyon rim to stop for lunch and to watch for wildlife. It's an excellent place for Black Bear!

We'll loop around the head waters of Boone Creek, then return to the trail head. 6-7 hrs of riding time.

Hidden Lake Trail Ride

Hidden Lake

This ride may be tailor-made for the beginner, as terrain is mild and gradual. It's a great day ride for kids!

The trail offers lots of open timber, harboring tons of chances to view all kinds of wildlife. If you like to fish this may be the perfect place to do so! Hidden Lake is full of cutthroat trout, and they always seem to be hungry! The lake has no visible outlet, yet stays crystal clear! A loop from the lake up around Dode Flats and down the North fork of Bitch Creek makes for an enjoyable and comfortable ride.

5-6 hrs of riding time should be expected. Lunch is provided.

Hidden Corral Basin

Ride along the floor of the Middle Fork of Bitch Creek, experiencing one of the most scenic canyons within the Jedediah Smith Wilderness. This is a relatively flat and mild trail with mild challenges at times. Travel through the "narrows" of the canyon as we enter into the basin at Hidden Corral. Learn the legends of old west horse thieves who used the basin to rest their stolen herds before driving them over the divide and up Horse Thief Pass and on into Jackson Hole. The same route in is taken to return to the trailhead at Coyote Meadows. Plan on a big day of ride time. 6-8 hrs. Lunch provided.
